Your Assessment Pathway

We've simplified the journey to diagnosis. Follow these four clear steps to access the support you deserve.

01

ADHD 1 – Initial Assessment

A comprehensive review of ADHD symptoms, history, and psychometric tests with a clinician. For adolescents (15–17), additional school reports and teacher inputs are evaluated to ensure a thorough understanding.

02

ADHD 2 – Results & Pathway

A consultation with a Nurse Practitioner to review assessment results, discuss goals, and plan next steps. Note: New patients must attend this appointment in person at our clinic.

03

ADHD 3 – Clinical Review

A formal Clinical Review to investigate symptoms and confirm your diagnosis. Includes a summary and recommendations. Optional detailed diagnostic reports are also available if needed.

04

ADHD 4 - Follow Up

A follow-up appointment 3–4 weeks after evaluation to review your treatment response. This session supports your transition into ongoing ADHD coaching and lifestyle strategies.

Which booking option is right for me?
If you are seeking a formal diagnosis, choose the 'New Patient' option and select an ADHD Assessment. If you are an existing patient requiring a check-up or medication review, choose the 'Returning Patient' follow-up options.
What is a Nurse Practitioner?

A Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a highly experienced clinician who has reached the highest level of nursing expertise. Think of an NP as the perfect bridge between the deep empathy of nursing and the advanced diagnostic power of medicine.

What can a Nurse Practitioner do?

In Australia, a Nurse Practitioner is a legally authorized, autonomous provider who can:

  • Diagnose complex conditions like ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, and PMDD.
  • Prescribe medications and manage your treatment plan long-term.
  • Order blood tests, scans, and medical referrals.
  • Provide Medicare-rebated consultations.

The Ninja Difference:

While a psychiatrist focuses primarily on psychiatric diagnosis and a GP on physical diagnosis, a Nurse Practitioner considers the whole person. Ebony and Chris' backgrounds are rooted in nursing; they don't just see a "case"—they see a human being. They combine 30+ years of clinical skills with a holistic lens that considers your gut health, nutritional status, physical symptoms, hormones, family history, and your neurodivergent strengths.

In short: You get the diagnostic authority you need, delivered with the authentic, lived-experience support you deserve.

Can new patients book telehealth?
Yes. New patient ADHD telehealth assessments are available Australia-wide. You can select this option under the New Patients tab.
What is ADHD 3 and ADHD 4?
ADHD 3 refers to the formal clinical review to officially confirm an ADHD diagnosis, typically completed after ADHD 1 and 2. ADHD 4 is the necessary follow-up appointment to review your treatment response roughly 3 to 4 weeks after your evaluation, where we ensure an effective transition into longer term management.

Do you offer in-person appointments?
Yes. All services provided by Nurse Practitioners are offered in-person.
Why must stimulant refills be done in person?

Who will I be meeting with during my assessment?
Our assessments are delivered by qualified practitioners who specialise in neurodiversity. You'll be supported by a professional who understands both the clinical science and the lived experience of ADHD.
Do you provide services for children under 13?
No. We currently provide support for clients aged 13 and over. Our assessments and care plans are tailored to adolescent and adult life stages.
