Can I get a Medicare rebate?
Medicare rebates are available after you have had an in-person consultation with one of our Nurse Practitioners. Thereafter, you will receive a rebate for telehealth or in-person appointments with the Nurse Practitioners as long as the service has an item number on the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) and meets the requirements.
Exact pricing, including the rebate, is available when you click the book now button on the website. Please note: this practice does not bulk-bill.
The rebate amount depends on the type and length of the consultation. For more details, you can view each service directly on the official MBS website.
Medicare rebates for counselling with our Accredited Mental Health Social Workers, Psychologists, and Occupational Therapists are available with a Mental Health Treatment Plan.
Please select the Medicare item number below to view the official details on the MBS website, including the service description and current rebate amount.

What is a Nurse Practitioner?
A Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a highly experienced clinician who has reached the highest level of nursing expertise. Think of an NP as the perfect bridge between the deep empathy of nursing and the advanced diagnostic power of medicine.
What can a Nurse Practitioner do?
In Australia, a Nurse Practitioner is a legally authorized, autonomous provider who can:
- Diagnose complex conditions like ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, and PMDD.
- Prescribe medications and manage your treatment plan long-term.
- Order blood tests, scans, and medical referrals.
- Provide Medicare-rebated consultations.
The Ninja Difference:
While a psychiatrist focuses primarily on psychiatric diagnosis and a GP on physical diagnosis, a Nurse Practitioner considers the whole person. Ebony and Chris' backgrounds are rooted in nursing; they don't just see a "case"—they see a human being. They combine 30+ years of clinical skills with a holistic lens that considers your gut health, nutritional status, physical symptoms, hormones, family history, and your neurodivergent strengths.
In short: You get the diagnostic authority you need, delivered with the authentic, lived-experience support you deserve.
